Faulkner gets a Redo

Tail light housing fits like a glove, Looking good! Keep the pix coming!

You’re making some good progress, Dan.

Will Faulkner be ready for Carlisle?

—John

Does the missing clip mean you can’t mount those fender skirts?

Come heck or high water, John! I may be sitting on the Dick Koch patented milk crate, but Faulkner will get there! :unamused:

l think l sent pictures to John Quinn, l have to find them! I think l have a couple of rear mounting brackets, will look for those also.

Not to embarass you Dan but do a search on “Fender skirt brackets”.
Yes, l have a set of brackets.

Dick, are you suggesting I don’t know how to use my own website?!?

…er, I guess you are.

Oooh! Ooooooooh! You know how disappointed Matthew will be if Faulkner’s not skirted at Carlisle, Dick. Can you part with them? If so, PM me what you want for them, I’ll send a check back with your taillight housing.

A big juicy hamburger and a large Choc. Frosty at Carlisle will do. Hold the tail light, ill get it at carlisle. Will post the brackets monday.
Dick

You are a Mensch, Dick Koch! Mensch - Wikipedia

Yea! I know.
Dick

Brackets arrived today, Dick! Thanks so much. You are a real Mensch - did I mention that?

There’s a wide end, and a somewhat narrower end - it’s hard for me to tell how you oriented, from this pic. Maybe, the rod on the skirt engages the bracket on the wide end?

I never noticed that, l would say the final position of the rod would be the small end if it fits. It should have a rubber dampner on it.
Dick

Faulkner’s painted, and home!

Not a bad color match, eh?

Martha, booted to the curb, AGAIN

Safely ensconced, where Faulkner belongs

Oh no! The passenger side hinge a spring took a hit. I’ll have to touch that up. Mostly, this is just shop dust that has to be cleaned up

I really love how it came out - although, there are a couple spots that need some 2000 grit blocking and polishing. I talked to the owner, he’s going to fix it when I drive it back after all the lights are hung.

All I need now is a minor miracle, to put this all back together before Carlisle. But it’s still in the low 40’s and raining like a sumnabitch here. This is like no spring I have ever seen… (tap, tap…) Hello Matthew, is this mike on?!? :sunglasses:

Holy crap, that looks good!!!

Man, l cant wait to see those skirts on him.
Dick

That’s funny - Matthew said the same thing

WOW that turned out beautiful!!! :astonished: you will get it put together in no time I bet! Gonna look amazing once the trim is on. That was a fast turn around time for the body shop!

Dan: All I can say is WOW !!! That looks real fine !!! Mark

Looks great, Dan!!!

Oh Noes! I’m going through my Gary Goers stash - and my taillight bulb sockets are too big! They’re 1", and they should be 3/4"…

Anyone know a good source for these? I need four single terminal, and two double terminal.
