Door panel boards, package tray boards, correct trunk mats, and hood insulation? Thanks. Paul
Hello Paul,
Thanks for the smiles, not done deliberately, I know.
Our cars are not Chevys or Mustangs..there is no place that has pre-made panels sitting on a shelf.
The best (only?) source for pre-cut panels (parcel shelf, kick panels) is Gary Goers in Montana.
One source for pre-made door panels is SMS, in Oregon. Door panels require that you choose the color fabric you want. The wait for finished product can be interminable.
Gary is building a new website…the address was gien in an earlier post by Ron Keij…I don’t have it at hand.
SMS in Oregon City, Oregon…just Google them for contact information.
Gary does hood insulation.
The exact rubber floor mats are not being re-manufactured. If you don’t mind a thicker-than-factory mat, there is a guy selling them (if he has any left)…Al Kvatek @ Valley Vintage Auto Parts. valleyvintage@vvap.com
Here is the link I [rovided earlier this week to the Gary Goers website and to his catalog in PDF format:

Regarding the Heater control valves, I think they come up on eBay from time to time, but being that they are 50 years old, one has to wonder if the internal rubber parts are still pliable.
Jeff Carter re-builds these…like many other parts needed for our cars, they are not cheap.
I emailed Al at Valley Vintage Parts and he is out of the trunk mats.

I don’t know of anyone else reproducing these mats at this time.
Gary Goers, king of mopar urethane reproductions, would be the one to ask.
Metro Molded Parts, and some others, but no
mats that I know of.
I do have another address for excellent repro trunk mats but the guy does not respond to email. I will try to reach him by phone as soon as possible but the time difference makes it difficult to find the right time to call. We sleep when the Americans are awake.
I will share all info I can get.
Ron
Ron, You promised 24/7 59 Plymouth service in 2010! You and Matthew need to work on shifts, so we can always have one Keij on call! ![]()
Hope all is well!
John Q.
Sure we will provide 24/7 service but that will start in 2010
For now I have limited time, Marjo is working in my office
new carpet and new wallpaper and as of tomorrow a directors desk. Isn’t she one of a kind?
Ron
Ron, she’s a keeper! Can she doe basements crammed with car parts?
John Q.
Are you kidding, basements crammed with car parts are her specialty
Just make sure there are no snakes or spiders in there, if she finds one you’ll never find her again
Do you have a specific period in mind for the works in your basement? Let me know in time and I’ll get her to the airport for you, all you have to do is pick her up and give her some coffee every now and then.
Ron
Sounds super! Pam showed me how to properly use the Kuerig coffee maker! So mno more delays in Coffee for her!
