Does anybody of you know where I can get a front seal for my Torque Flite Transmission?

Stefan - If you have a leak in that area, there is a chance it might be coming from the torque converter. I’ve heard that if car sits for a period of time converter will fill up and tranny fluid will seep out. I have a leak in that area when car is in winter storage but in summer when car is driven, no leak…so I figure its coming from converter, thus, no repair is required.

I’ve checked this yesterday. As far as I can see the fluid doesn’t come down on the torque converter, but on the transmission housing. So I guess it’s really the front seal.

I had to have my seal replaced – I got it from Fatsco:
They can drop-ship it to me, and I can forward it to you, if they want an arm and a leg to ship to you…
