Strange Button !?

Fellows,

I’m just curious! I found this button on Tom Gerrard’s SF Convertible. What is it for?

the convertibles have an extra latch on the doors, to keep them securely closed while driving! Even with that huge “X frame”, there must be some body flexing. (If you want a better photo, let e know and I’ll take one of my car.)

Thanks Roger,

I was just curious. I spent some time to admire the cars and suddenly there was one detail I’ve never seen. In fact I have never seen a 59 Convertible myself.

no problemo! I would take pics of my car, but for the major amount of crap I am going thru at the moment…therefore, no free time..
