Still more snow

(sigh…)

February made me shiver
With every paper I’d deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn’t take one more step

Enough, already.

Don McLean and I just finished shoveling fourteen inches of partly cloudy from our driveways and side walks.

The big snow is coming this weekend, My friend Star Mopar gave me his old snow blower. Time to fuel up the snow blower, test run, after rebuilding the starter./b]

Oh Noooo! It’s a balmy 64 here, Rick - although a dusting is expected Tuesday, prolly catching your snowfall coming eastward.

Nice here today now, but it’s coming.

Built braces to support out ‘Pergola’ today…Just in case. To be measured in feet of snow.

Rick sends this pic from 2003:

Let’s hope it’s not that bad this time around, Rick!

Dan, Thank You, If it wasn’t for wind our roofs would have collapsed. I lucked out that snow storm, My friend was a contractor and left his 20 yard dump truck and Bob Cat skid steer in my back yard. I utilized them both to dig out, and my neighbors driveways after the city plowed us in. I had his equipment for a week. I worked nights repairing snow removal equipment for another city. I borrowed my spouses W350 to get to work, being my friend had my W250 extra to get home 40 miles east of here, where conditions were worse.

Only a few inches and people are abandoning their cars on the street. It is windy, with poor visibility. Static electricity makes snow cling on our windows. Thanks to vertical opening garage door, I was able to dig out front and back doors, back door will need it again in the morning.

Old Man Winter’s dying gasp! :astonished: Stay safe, Rick.

We lucked out, 25.5 Inches, west of here two miles accumulated 40 Inches. Static electricity storm with snow/blizzard, disorients people and they get confused where they are at, perish walking home after abandoning there snow bound vehicles. Picture of my back door.
