Steering wheel

Wow, look what it sold for…

Yes, as Vic pointed out, the mainstream rebuilders, such as Koch’s, are charging a minimum of $600 (others want $1200!) to re-cast the steering wheel. Of course you need to supply them with the chrome plating in good condition, so that Ebay price is not out of line.
BTW Dan, I had to log on to see this post, then log on again to reply…
And I WISH I were a genius Ron, but it isn’t so, I can solve problems on the fly, but unfortunately I don’t necessarily remember my actions!

…and I had to log on to see yours, Roger. That’s because your automated message contained this:

I have to figure out why it’s doing that. I think it may be tied to your registration… With the new forum software, you can only have it remember your logon if you come in through 59plymouth.net.

Hold the bus! Someone on the phpBB forum straightened me out.

There’s no “59sportfury” stored in the database. If you log into 59sportfury instead of 59plymouth – when you reply to a post that results in an email to folks, that email contains a link back to 59sportfury; and that link requires that you login.

Confusing?! I’ll say.

But there’s a fix for this, that will make it work either way. I’ll look at applying that fix.
