Hi, the plastic part between the instrument panel and the steering column was on really poor shape so I build it up in 3d and had it 3d printed. Fitting is really good now. Let me know if I should send you the stl file for 3d printing.

That’s awesome, Morten! Do you have any objections to posting it here, where other folks can download it? I’ll be certain to add it as an allowable file type.
Many thanks!
Dan
Done! Be sure to give yourself credit, by posting a link to this thread on Facebook, and in forwardlook.net. Many thanks!

Hi, I’m a newbie here.
My steering column cover is gone. Where can I find the 3D printing file?
Hi Robert, welcome to the '59 Forum.
Morten never posted the file here, and as far as I know, on Facebook. I don’t have his email address, but I did reach out to him on Facebook Messenger - if I should hear, I will be sure to let you know.

@Robert_Chrysli, I heard from @morten.larsen! Morten writes:
Hi Dan
Here you go.
Cover11.STL (496.8 KB)
Its revision 11 as I had to try many times to get the fitting right.
If you have any comments, please let me know and I will update the file
Hope all well.
Med venlig hilsen
Morten Larsen
Thank you very much, now I just need to order it to be printed.

Printed, looks great, fits perfectly.
Thanks again, guys.
Excellent! Thanks, @morten.larsen !
@Robert_Chrysli, how about posting a pic or three of your '59? Just drag and drop!

Here’s my car. My window seal was completely worn out. I bought one, original good condition gasket from another car. I’ll be reinstalling the windshield soon.
Now I’m trying to rebuild the heater control unit. All the vacuum ports were broken off. I used rivets and epoxy to build a new connector.
Beautiful Fury, @Robert_Chrysli! Where do you live?
…and a very creative repair job on the heater vacuum unit!
Thanks! I live in Poland, Europe
