Hello, I just Bought a 1959 Plymouth Fury with a 361ci motor and I have a bad spot in the ring gear that makes the starter not engage.Looking for some Info on replacing the ring gear on the torque convertor.Having a hard time finding the ring gear for sale.Any help would be great.Thanks
Carefully drive the ring gear off, heat it with a small torch, until really warm and flip it over and reinstall on the fly wheel or torque convertor, as it cools it shrinks back to size. Yes it’s that easy
