Reproduction bumper wings

Some of you may have seen Manos’ (cqb-241_fury) reproduction bumper wings for '57 - '58 on eBay:

Manos (who lives in Greece) is interested in making a mold for '59 bumper wings - and whoever loans him theirs for two weeks, gets a set of reproductions for free.

The wings can be rusty, and dented - he can smooth those out in the mold:

If somebody has a left, and somebody has a right - you could send them both to him, and split the cost of a second pair.

Think about it! You have nothing to lose. I’ll guarantee return of each original wing for $500. I have no wings to offer, or else I’d jump on this! It would be great if we had a supplier for repop bumper wings. Contact me if interested.

Someone has signed up to provide a pair of bumper wings to me, to get to Manos! I am guaranteeing their safe return. They will receive a pair of (unchromed) repops in return for loaning them. Soon, repops will be available!

Meanwhile, thanks to Dick Koch alerting me, I have scored a pair of rechromed bumper wings for myself. Will post pix soon. (Thanks Dick!)
