removing old glove box without damage

I see a lot of discussion about removing the old glove box to get to the heater and the box being damaged.
I removed mine with no damage at all and here are the pictures after I got it out.
The way I did mine is the same on many other makes as well and I have done many this way.
Remove the glove box door first, then remove all the screws to the glove box and then carefully fold down the right end of the box, turn carefully into opening and then slowly fold down the other end and slowly pull the box out from the front. This old box is even damp on one end and still no damage to it.
If you get a new box it will go back in the same way. Once in and screwed in place you don’t see the folds you made to remove/install the box.

Thanks!

I am always stuggling to get these out so I will give this a try next time!
Hope next time will be far away before I have to fix anything under the dash again

Not so fast Matthew! I never put in my glove box so yes you will have to do this again the next time you are in Colorado.

If I can be of more help on this subject I will be happy to do what I can.
