Off to Ireland

Hi folks,

I know I haven’t been seen much around these parts lately; that’s what happens when you get promoted, and they let you keep your old job too  :unamused: :smiling_imp: But it’s finally been posted, perhaps we’ll get some good candidates and life will return more to normal – whatever that is.

Work or no, it’s time to play – and so I’m finally taking a trip I always wanted to take: Tomorrow I’m off to Ireland, the land of my forebears. While I’m there, I’ll be visiting a little postage-stamp of a place named Glantane, southwest of Mallow, County Cork. That’s where Ambrose Farmer, my g-g-g-grandfather lived (1 on the map), along with his son William (2), and their farm (3). And they tell you, you can never go home again!

I’ll be back October 23rd – keep the hackers at bay in the meantime, willya?!

Dan, have a fun, safe trip! Enjoy your time away!! —John
