Newspaper advertisement

When I was using google to find some new 59’s I found google news!
While cruising some old newspapers I took screenshots which made it into 1 big puzzle.
Pretty much done with all of them and now it’s time to post

Will do them in a couple posts

And more…

Now we all know where Dick gets his 59’s!

And the last ones

…seems like yesterday my little Betty Belvedere (“Frau Blue Car”) just rolled off the assembly line, 4-30-59, though I was 4 1/2 years old then, I had a feeling of destiny that one day I would own her…The other feeling I had was that I needed a nap! Still true today on the Nap part! :stuck_out_tongue:

These adds are great Matthew! Thanks for digging them up for us.

Great collection of 1959 Plymouth advertisements that you have found.
I tried googling some old newspaper ads and found quite a few Used Car listing of used Plymouths for sale from dealerships.
You have to laugh at the prices and the terms offered.
Oh the good old days… thanks for the read.

Is there any resource where one can search old dealership names? i actually have a Dealership # and know that it was located in the Bronx, Just need a name. Thinking about mocking up a vintage reproduction of the dealership sticker.

I would research the old New York City papers for car sales for C-P dealers in the Bronx. they probably would only be one or two in that Borough.
