I’ve had some conversations with Keith Huber, a SF owner from Gulfport, Mississippi – both by email and by phone. Keith was going to send me some pix of his car for the showcase, but never got around to it. I tried calling his wife’s cell phone tonight – I keep getting the message, “All circuits are busy, please try your call later”.
As you know, that area was hard hit by Hurricane Katrina. I wonder how they are doing…
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I’ll let you know, should I hear from them.
http://www.keithhuber.com is down. I’ve seen a news report that the entire 228 telephone exchange is knocked out; and a call to his business’ 800 number rings and rings.
I just heard from a yahoo chat friend in Mobile Alabama,she says that she just got power back today and things are just horrible there,so it may be awhile before youre able to reach Keith or anyone down that way…
I also emailed Charlie Poole ( https://59plymouth.net/showcase/poole.html ) in Slidell, LA – about 30 miles north of New Orleans. The email bounced, the server isn’t accepting email…

I saw some things about it on the tv. They don’t pay that much attention to it here and I think that is wrong. After that tsunami a while ago you couldn’t see anything else on the tv here. I hope everybody is doing good in New Orleans and everything is going to be oke there
Sure – the website address is http://www.keithhuber.com/. If you google his name, you’ll get lots of hits that refer to this address; I had been to the address last year, but now you get “the page cannot be found”.
Last year I had also emailed info@keithhuber.com and gotten a reply. Dave Stragand had forwarded an email to me from his wife that came before the hurricane, I emailed her at smh1962@msn.com but never got a reply.
That email also contained a cell phone number in the 228 area code. Repeated calls were not able to connect; but just the other day I got Keith’s voicemail and left a message. I don’t know if he got it, though, or if he’s even able to charge his phone (assuming he still has it).
I’m sorry, I should have read your first post more carefully. Keith Huber never sent in pictures of his car, nor joined the Group. I wish him all the best.
