Thanks

That’s an incorrect bracket for the 59. They are for 57 and/or 58. For sure they were used in the 58’s.
The 59’s are long and they hang on a 1 piece bracket. I will try to find a pic for you
Here is a link to a pic of Tom Fox his Belvedere. You can see the Jiffy Jet Bag on the left of the pic:
Thanks Matthew, this is exactly the washer bag that I have. Does anybody have one of these hanger (bracket) for me?
Stefan
Matthew,
I am totally impressed that you could figure out what was wrongf from those pictures…I will look for the appropriate hangers here
I am too!!
I should take and post a pic of what my 59 has to replace the original washer bag and hangers!!
Suffice to say that an old Ford Tempo donated its washer container!
Well, i’m looking (and specialize a little bit) in factory options. Most of the later installed windshield washers has the 58 Jiffy jet bag in it. I knew the 59 has a really different bag and a 1 piece hanger. I will try to find a better pic of it. I had a better pic but I lost it ![]()
Matthew - my washer bag has 3 grommet holes and is attached to car by 3 hanger/ bracket/hooks…not a one peice bracket. They are attached to the fender liner bolts. Haven’t seen that many, but have never seen a one peice bracket holding bag.
My car has 3 hangers too, as has all the 9 aPly parts cars I’ve ever come across
For a good picture (well, actually a drawing), see page 1AC of the 59 Parts Book.
I’d copy and post it tonight but I am simply too tired!
John and/or Roger,
can you post a close picture of the hangers. Maybe I can make these hangers by myself.
Stefan
Well, then the pic I saw was a non original. I saw a pic with a 59 bag and it was 1 long piece.
My apologies
No problem Matthew! I expect that export Plymouths had some differences in details.
