[The roof came up nicely after polishing, and the hood and trunk were sanded, primed and painted - as well as other parts of the car, after metalwork was complete (see “Rebuild”). Some kool “After” pix! -Dan]
Took most of the day, but Finnegan’s front is done! I went with a Black mesh grill to highlight the chrome. Easily undone if the next person doesn’t like it.
Also found an owner’s manual in the glove box in a plastic sleeve. real or repro??
It is almost too minty to be real
Ended up repainting the hub caps instead of using the stickers. Happy with the result.
Considering that I re did my pass rear wheel well using a piece of cardboard for the shape from the other side, I’m happy how close I got. The NEW rear skirts fit better than I thought they would and will help me fine tune the shape.

At one point Gary bought a Mirada, thinking he would cannibalize the rear end for the Mayfair. But… "The Mirada will be saved and not parted out. Checked out on the hoist. Too good to kill."
Couldn’t resist a cheap, running 64 bug! Looks like the 59 Plodge pooped out a bug!
