Delco electric window motor, coupling and drive cable

MopPar P/N 1810 682. My (frozen) motor is stamped 504435, but I think that’s a Delco number.

Also, the rubber coupling is chewed to heck – It’s one piece with the drive cable, MoPar P/N 1810 641.

We probably need a new window motor too. Our RH backwindow doesn’t work at all. The wires are connected good. It worked a year ago or something. The wires are getting hot when you tell the window to go down or go up so the 12V are going thru the wires. Anybody know if this is the motor for sure??? Please tell me it isn’t the window motor. We checked the prices of them. 1 site has them, for $360 a piece :open_mouth: !!!

Received this reply from a parts inquiry. Ouch! Does anyone know of a possible replacement motor?

Thank you for your interest in products or services from Yesteryear.
Typical window motor rebuilding (assuming the core is salvagable) runs
$219.00 plus return shipping.
Many of the window motors from the 1950s, early 60s went bad when the door
drain hold plugged up and the door filled with water, causing the
motor case to rust out and or short out the motor.
If your core is severely rusted it will not be rebuildable.
If you’d like to send your motor in for evaluation we’d be happy
to look at it. Worse case-core return ship expense. If motor is
burned/rusted out we may be able to supply a suitable replacement motor.
Please contact us for the shipping address if you’d like to send your motor
in.

I know they are very expensive!!! We also searched for one. We found 3 of them and the cheapest was $359!!! Those prices are not normal!
