Some more inside pix and flix.
Many, many more Chrysler products gathered daily outside the Exhibit Hall. This is just a very small sampling.
With an emphasis on Chrysler products, of course!
Jim Rawa strikes again - another impeccable restoration, this time a 1957 Chrysler Saratoga, “Audrey”.
Alyssa adds some glam
Ron Keij admires Jim’s handiwork
(Sigh…)
This is a website about 1959 Plymouths, doncha know! With Faulkner off in the Exhibition Hall, we were represented by two excellent specimens on the Fairgrounds this year.
Formerly owned by Dan Dalton, this beautiful Fury returned to Carlisle under the ownership of Robert… (?) I neglected to write down his name!
Earl Hess returns with his Sport Fury, "The Lonely One"
The obligatory General Lee Chargers and Roscoe Dodge Coronets. Because, Jeff.
The ill-fated Charger that jumped a fountain in Somerset, Kentucky. Whatever.
I was privileged - and, honored - to have “Faulkner”, my 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury, appear in the Exhibition Hall as part of the Chrysler 100 Grand Celebration.
Thanks for the glamour shot, Alyssa!
Zach Stragand’s '61 Valiant made its first appearance at Carlisle this year! Zach graciously permitted me to park Valerie, my '63 Valiant V200 wagon, in proximity. And Zach even let me drive it!
Such fun!
Chrysler also made significant contributions to our nation’s military efforts during World War II, and afterwards in civil defense. As part of the Chrysler 100 Grand Celebration, several Chrysler vehicles related to this effort were on display.
Military vehicles were parked up on the hill overlooking Valerie
