Well, Faulkner was a no show! As were others. Such a sorry state of affairs, with COVID-19 still a scourge. But, someone showed up with a 1959 Sport Fury convertible from Pennsylvania. Matthew, whose car?!?
Next year in Carlisle!

Ah; I know. This car belongs to Chad Coulter, who recently purchased it from Greg Falk. Matthew visited Greg last year and saw the car up close. The upholstery needs a redo! But then, so does Faulkner’s…

Chad and I spoke by phone recently. It turns out we are nearly neighbors!
Chad lives a couple of towns over. Perhaps when Faulkner comes home in August, and kicks Martha out of the garage, Chad’s Sport Fury and mine will do a little socially distant visiting!
This is the car that was on Ebay just a month or two ago. Did it sell? I thought the reserve was not hit. The price was very reasonable. Kourtney and I seriously considered making a bid on it. I am glad to see the 59 Plymouth was represented at Carlisle this year.
Yup, apparently Chad and Greg made a deal. I can’t wait until Faulkner comes home for a play date!
Next year in Carlisle, Will!
It’s a good looking car, even with the plaid interior. Unfortunately, I will be deployed this time next year so maybe 2022.
I look forward to seeing Faulkner and Chad’s vert parked next to each other ![]()
