Chryslers at Carlisle 2018

It was a disappointing show from a '59 Plymouth perspective. In that there weren’t any there! :astonished: I had spoken to Jim Hamsher before the show, and he said he was coming, but we never saw him or his car.

Plenty of Forward Look though! I’ll post them here.

Jim Rawa painted this beauty

John Diekewicz’s touching tribute to his father, and his car

Hmmm…

…I’m likin’ how the wheel color matches the body color

Ran when parked - 40 years ago! Cleans up nice in the spots where he cleaned it up. He was asking $110K, I wonder what he got for it

John Diekewicz’s marvelous '58

Some mighty fine Adventurers!

Because.

This guy moved all electrical terminations - and, the battery - to the trunk. With an accompanying light show. Why?!? Because he can!

Sweet panel truck

Pre-Forward Look…

…but, not really

A bona-fide Chrysler Imperial - in the days when Imperial was a model of Chrysler

A super-sweet '53 Dodge Meadowbrook custom wagon

…and now it’s time for Post-Forward Look!

A very moving experience!

Wow! what an amazing time that must have been! Hopefully I will get to experience it next year. I have been seeing all the FB post’s of all the Carlisle action. I just cant believe that out of all the thousands of MoPar’s that made it there was not one singe 59 Plymouth! That almost does not seem possible.
