Roger and Dan take over the back seat

Matthew’s co-pilot!

Uh-oh… Things were going great, until we got near Carlisle.

What’s the holdup?

Cruisin’ the back roads at Carlisle!

.

Oh yeah! Forgot to mention… There were other cars at Carlisle besides '59 Plymouths!

here’s a small sample…

'59 Plymouth owners gather for the 1st annual Convocation! L to R – Ron Keij, Roger Howard, Frank Worsham, Dan Morton, Matthew Keij, Joe Leone

David and John Wilson join the group

A gaggle of '59’s!

Now there’s a pretty sight…

The whole group – Joe, Matthew, Frank, Dan, Roger, Ron, David and John

Dinner at the rib joint. It’s an honor to park next to John Diekewicz’s '58 Plymouth! (Roger apparently thinks so too)

In honor of David C. Sterling, the "P"'s original owner

Some shots of Faulkner hanging around other MoPars

Headed home… Uh-oh! Breakdown lane at the Valley Forge exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike

The tranny won’t go. Does Dan look stressed, or what?!

Someone stops to offer help, but there’s none to be had

Dunno! Later, it occurs to us if we can get up enough speed to hit second gear (first is shot), we might get close to home…

The strategy works! We arrive 20 feet from the garage door – but he won’t go no mo. We push it in the last 20 feet. Not so bad, for a several hundred mile trip!

…and Bailey’s glad to see we’re home safe.
