Cannot get tranny out of neutral

And for what it’s worth, here’s how I adjusted the cable so that the transmission was in neutral, with the neutral button pushed:

Hey, that’s a good idea, Dick. I’ve got long arms - I’m 6’ 3" (used to be, anyway) - and I can actually reach in and feel all around the lip. I’ll try your trick.
