Brian Storey and his spouse Bridgette recently moved to Rossville, Georgia (near Chattanooga, TN) from Sebastian, Florida. Brian is an accomplished leatherworker and photographer, and Bridgette is a frequent subject of his photographs. Brian’s '59 Sport Fury has a “Storey’d” history, as you will learn. But first some automotive eye candy!
Whether driving to a photo shoot or picking up lumber for a project, Brian loves to drive his Fury!
Brian’s Uncle Steve previously owned the Sport Fury. '59 Forum members remember Steve from his first visit to the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle with the Fury in 2009.

Subsequent to his visit, the Fury suffered the indignity of having a barn fall on it, and Steve then began the process of restoration in earnest.
Steve had eclectic automotive interests, and the collection of automobiles to prove it.
In 2023 at the age of 76, Steve Storey died - leaving behind a treasure trove of automobilia. Fortunately, the Sport Fury stayed in the family, with Brian taking ownership.

In October of 2023, the Sport Fury was loaded up for transport to Sebastian, Florida where a delerious Brian Storey took acquisition.
The arrival! "Everybody stay calm oh my god it’s happening…"

Some shots of the Fury out and about, being enjoyed by the new owner.
Very happy day. Got the cracked exhaust manifold swapped out for a matching original part found in Oregon and Enrique Vasquez was amazing as always helping me get it done correctly. The 59 Plymouth is purring quietly as it should with just the right amount of 5.2L v8 noises but out the correct end this time.
Hanging with Enrique lending a hand to get this motor back in so we can do cool car dude stuff again.
Brian is a leatherworker extraordinaire. Check out his Facebook profile to see some of the remarkable products he makes. Here’s a sampling that pertain to his Fury - of course.
Used a spare emblem as a die to make a swanky registration and insurance holder for the glovebox
Towards the end of 2024, Brian and Bridgette pulled up stakes and took the Fury with them.
Ensconsed in the new garage!
Well, the car transport company burned up the points and I have been slammed with all sorts of things but I finally had the time to install an upgraded electronic distributor set up in the fury this evening and I’m happy to report that she’s running better than ever on the new modern ignition set up!
A Snowy Day in Georgia… I feel, like it’s snowin’ all over the world (apologies to Brook Benton).
"First snow in the new house. Had to bring out my two favorite things for some photos."
A man of many talents, Brian is also a consummate photographer.
When asked about the musicians draping themselves all over the Sport Fury, he replied:
And from the band themselves:
Put on your dancing shoes and pile the gang in the hotrod! Saturday night (9/14/24) is gonna be swingin’! The Circus is back for another night of Soul Shakin’ Swingabilly at Tipsy Tiki from 8-11. We’ll see you there! Thanks to @Brian Storey for the cool photos!
I don’t know the occasion for this beautiful client, but here she appears with Brian’s beautiful Sport Fury.
