I put Greenie on the lift to get some pictures of how the body mounts should be placed. The very front mounts seem to be cupped metal washers only, no rubber cushioning. Can anybody shed any light on this. Hope this helps.

Man that is a clean underside!!! Dick,thanks for the pictures and locations of these mounts. When a car needs to be shimmed for body sag usally by the door area, B pillar, it is done with metal shims or more of these body biscuits to provide some uplift of the body shell from the frame support points?
I have not gotton to this point yet, but just asking from you guys with 59’s on the road. The FSM talk about shimming for door opening droop and gap control.

John Q - The underside had no rust and a very thin coat of primer and green overspray. I cleaned with Simple Green, Mineral spirits and then hand brushed a coat of Eastwood Silver Encapsulator. Came out nice.
