Barrett Jackson sponsored car show - Palm Beach, FL April 3, 2011

Man, these car shows really dip into my restoration time. The show officially started at 10 AM. Cars started arriving at 7 AM and by the time we got there it was almost full. We were lucky to get a place to park way in the back. Thank god we pre-registered so we got our free tickets to the Auction next weekend.

Neat cars and trucks Dick! The Drop top Camaro is sporting Michigan Manufacturer’s Plate, So its a Corporate car on loan to Barrett-Jackson. No doubt with the logo on the quarter panel indicating the tie in advertising.

Glad I saved some of my old plates for show purposes only of course!

John - Wow, you have a sharp eye. I started to take a picture of that plate.
Dick.

Those are the type of plates my grandfather, father and myself used on our cars when we all worked for mother Mopar. Ford and Chevy guys used the same, (just more of them! )

I kept one of my Idaho MFR plates from the late 70’s that was on my cars in Idaho (covered that area out of the Denver Zone office) and it has a “MFR 59” Who knew years later I would relish it again.

I see a lot of them cruising around Denver due to the High Altitude testing lab out here. You willl see several of them in a row cruising west on I-70 to get into the mountains to gather data. In Colorado we would have Colorado MFR plates that we can move back and forth on different cars. Kinda like dealer plates.

oh they are the sponsors of the carshow. i went there and the cars are all awesome! i swear to buy those similar parts at auto parts store. but do you guys know if Drivewire is a good store? need some timing belt for my car. any response would be highly appreciated. thanks a lot.

I have never bought from them so I can’t say if they are good or bad. Google the name and see if they have many complaints or compliments on what they sell or support. Summit Racing is a good place to go for parts like you need but this could be good a place as any.
