SOLD. $135,000.00!

Incredible, right? Here’s a few pix from Facebook - photos of the TV, of the auction underway:

Mike McCandless wouldn’t touch it. He spotted spidering under the paint!

I was watching the actual auction on TV but missed who the buyer was.
Dick

What, spidering in the paint! I wouldnt have bought it either.
Dick

Hi,
I’m new to your site, not the car.
Question, why do people have an issue with the wire wheels? I like them, mine had hubcaps, but The wheels look nice. Are they a factory option or an aftermarket item?
Thanks
Ed

Hi Ed! It’s good to hear from you.

Wire wheels were an option on Chryslers in '59, but not on Plymouths - Matthew can correct if I misstate. I like their look, but hey, I also like wheels painted the color of the car

Post some pix of your car, please!

Dan

Silver-Argent.

See? I’ll never win this argument.

Hey Dick, battening down the hatches? Us old geezers can’t be too careful with COVID-19 on the march. Be safe, be healthy - Yvonne too.

We are trying, we both had a bout with Bronchitis for a week an a half. I had to stay home from work. I’m back now. This is the first time in over a year l have received an email from the forum, in fact any emails at all from the site. What’s up with that. You and Martha be careful too.
Dick.
