WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO AN ALL-TIME NEW STATE RECORD OF 30" OF SNOW! WE HAD 24" OF SNOW ON DECEMBER 19TH. OUR NORMAL TOTAL FOR ALL YEAR IS ONLY 56" AND WE ARE JUST HALF-WAY THROUGH THE SNOW SEASON!
I FEEL LIKE I LIVE IN COLORADO. WELL I GUESS IT IS BETTER THAN TORNADOES, EARTHQUAKES AND HURRICANES.
Dick, he did mention Hurricanes… And that would be your department right? No Hurricanes in Colorado, but the Snowstorms & Earthquakes we do qualify on.
We do get “Chinnook” winds that come out of the mountains at over 100 MPH, But Hurricanes is a “Dick Koch” area of operation event!
Lets hope it melts fast for them.
And Dick, don’t forget to put on some SPF 50 today!!!
Any more pictures to post Dick on your 59 resto on the other thread?
Hope you survived “snowmageddon” well and that it was just a bad dream the next morning! I have never seen that much snow here and I probably never will as we get only a couple of inches at a time.
Please make sure they have it cleaned up by next Sunday, remind them there are VIP’s coming to Wahington Dulles Airport
Super Bowl? Is that a new attachement fuel bowl on a Carter AFB?
Oh the game…Once all the 4 to 5 hours of Hype is over, then we can watch the game finally!
Ron and Marjo, 'Dulles approach control, Dutch VIP flight one! Your are cleared to Runway 29R Visual approach, Airport Temps are 20 degrees, so dress warmly!"
