As folks may have noticed, we’ve been getting lots of new “members” with poker pursuits. I’ve changed the policy so that I have to approve all membership; still, they appear as members pending approval (although they can’t post anything). I’m not sure if this version of phpBB has a way to disallow membership until I approve, but until I figure it out, we’ll continue to be pestered by these robots…

Actually, that’s a good idea – not for the engine rebuild, but for a new computer. I was so tired moving, I bounced my computer on the carpet when I reached the last step… Now the C: drive is gone. Fortunately, I’ve been backing up the data to a secondary drive, and that’s fine. But now I have to rebuild a new computer

Dan, after reading this I strongly advise you not to gamble this week. First the trouble with Faulkner and now dropping your computer on the floor, this isn’t your lucky week I guess.
On the other hand if you wouldn’t have had a carpet there you could have crushed your back up drive too
