Here are some fun clips from a classic Television show. These are clips from the first season, recently redone in DVD quality, and including some never before seen episodes.
Don’t worry about the context - the focus is on Peter’s '59 Sport Fury! It’s all about the cars…

My all time favorite show, fallowed by the late 60’s Dragnet with Jack Webb. Peter Gunn is the reason I fell in love with 59 Plymouths 🕶 ! The style, the music (Peter Gunn sound track is also my favorite album set on vinyl by Hennery Mancini), the Mid Century Modern sets, story lines, a really great show! I always wondered what ever happened to the cars they used to make the show? Also, any one know what color it was? and what options it had? Hard to tell its color scheme in the black and white.

Bronze with a white (convertible) top 😃
Yeah, I dunno. It would be cool to come across some color stills from the shooting. Film shooting, that is! 😒

Here’s a teaser from Season 2 of Peter Gunn, courtesy of Gary Bitner. What a motherlode! It’s going to take a while for me to plow through all the episodes and pick out the '59 Plymouth bits, but consider this the first installment. Thanks Gary!

I knew it! There’s a [Dutch connection](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agent_327) to Peter Gunn:
> [@Wikipedia](#):
>
> The eponymous Agent 327 is a James Bond/Maxwell Smart-like Dutch secret agent who fights for “Righteousness and World Peace”; his looks are based on the character of **Peter Gunn.**

Not every Peter Gunn episode has a '59 in it; some don’t even have MoPars in them! But it’s fun to find them, when you do… Still working my way through the first set of Season Two, and there are four sets!

Here’s a bunch more from Season 2. Remember, it’s just about the cars!
_Terror on the Campus - A cool convertible ends the clip. Not a MoPar, though! Does anyone recognize it?_

_Spell of Murder_
_See No Evil_
_Sentenced - Pete’s wrongfully accused of murder, and is on the lam. Funny, the cops lead the chase in a '59, but end up in a '58!_

Pete’s '59 Sport Fury plays such a prominent role in the episode, “The Hunt”, that I have to present the episode in is entirety! Thanks again, Gary Bitner!
Here’s the first half…

Pete’s graduated to a 1960 Fury convertible! Even so, there’s a '59 Plymouth sprinkled here and there - in some cases, only a tail fin, so keep your eyes peeled. In others, there are no Plymouths at all, but perhaps an Imperial or so. And be on the lookout for a '56 DeSoto! Because with MoPar, it’s all in the family.
