What a weekend, 4 shows, Thrusday, Clamatis By Night - 4 cars. Friday, Asphalt Angels weekly show - 70 cars, Saturday, Downtown at Abacoa - 150 cars, Sunday, Mopar Nationals - 192 cars. Davie, Fl. is an hours drive south from my house. I drove the 60 Desoto and my friend Eddie Perez drove the Sport Fury. I suspect the dour look on his face is because he had to spend an hour driving a MOPAR. He likes Chevy’s, he has a beautiful 56 Bel air, 69 Chevelle, 67 Camaro SS/RS convertible. Our group of friends call him our Po-Rican. He’ll get over it. Every car at the Mopar Nationals gets a plaque. Bronze, Silver and Gold. the Sport Fury and the Desoto both got GOLD as they do every year, ahem! So many beautiful cars, to much to post, these are the ones I liked the most, enjoy.
