Don Claybaugh sent me some pictures of mirrors he has for sale. I am just posting the ad for him as I don’t know anything more about them, if someone is interested I will get him/her in touch with Don.
Don’s comment on the first pair: Pictures don’t do the mirrors justus.On a scale of 1-10 they are at least a 9. Asking $150 for the pair.

2 of these mirrors are nice driver quality. Mirror heads are very good but pedestals have some small pits. I’ll take $160 for the pair.The 3rd mirror has a good head with some pitting on the pedestal.I’d take $70 for it.To make it show quality you would have to have the pedestal replated. I’m sending some other pictures also. The mirrors with the short mounts were on the doors of my 59 Ply when i got it for Allen.They are show quality.
Too bad we don’t have a mirror specialist on this list. It is not clear to me which mirrors are correct for a '59 Plymouth.
Most of us are familiar with the twin-strut mirrors, standard on SF, optional on others. There was one other factory offer, as far as I know, which had the smooth backed mirror head (no hood) and angled pedestal as seen as in these photos.
I need a mirror for my 59 Belvedere. Missing the head. I just looked at the manuel section for all parts list for 59’s and it listed two mirrors. 1772 447 and a 1773 071, which I think those might be. I would be interested in the single one for $70.
