Em has a friend in Brazil, who sent her this pic from a movie shoot. It’s got fins! Sort of. Anyone know what it is? It bears some semblance to a Rambler on the back end, but the front end is too stylish for American Motors…
Looks a little like a Ford Cortina.

It looks sort of like some kind of Studebaker, maybe when they merged with Packard in 56 or 57,I can also see some Rambler in it,could be as John said, maybe A foreign made Ford/Mercury(T Bird)? Maybe toss it up on the AACA forum, those guy’s will pop that one easy!! That is A good one!! Mark M
Have not a clue but it is a funny way to clean the inside of the windshield with the first dusting Swiffer made for cars! ![]()
Wonder what movie was being made and if it will be shown in the US someday so we can see more of the car up close..
John Q.
It’s a SIMCA.
Dick.
I stand corrected!! It’s a Simca Chambord (Brazilian). Google it.
Dick.
And we all know Simca was owned by Chrysler when this car was made!
…and the first one produced, was in…
1959!
