Carlisle Roll Call

OK – as far as I know, the only '59 Plymouth owners who have officially announced their attendance at C@C this summer are Ron, Matthew and myself.

That is, until now…

That’s Right!!!

**Tom Fox is bringing “The Car that Chrysler Should Have Built” to Carlisle! Ohmigosh!

Now, if Tom can bring this spectacular beauty 2750 miles east to Carlisle…

Well, what’s your excuse?!? Are you gonna be there, or what?

Ed, Bob, Dick, John, Stefan, Curt L., Curt D., Joe, Mark, and the dozens of other '59 Plymouth owners… This is the year. Let’s do it!

Dan**

I will be there with my 57 Plymouth with the Mopar Survivors, and I hope to have my 59 Plymouth ready by then as well. I will be making all attempts to have it there also. Looking Forward more than ever, since it has been in the single digits here for weeks.

If Tom had enuf room in his trailer, he could take my car along too. Sorry, I cant afford to take time off this year for a 5000 mile round trip drive.

What’s the dates for Carlisle.
Dick.

July 6-8! So you’re coming with one of your '59’s, then?!

… and I’m still working on a flight - plus an Extra. Thought I could combine it with a visit in NY with Ana

Stefan

Sure would like to go, BUT going to New Orleans in March and April so will probably have to get a divorce to go to Carlisle in July. But then again if I get a divorce I won’t have a car to take to Carlisle anyway. I will try to schmooze her but no promises.
Dick.

Great that Tom Fox is bringing his car to Carlisle! Now I have an extra day in Oregon to do the tourist things, I was going to email Tom to ask if we could have a look at his car while we were in the area by the end of June.

Ron

I also received an email from Tony a while ago and he already made reservations for a hotel in Mechanicsburg. So with him and Tom Fox we are up to 5.

Ron

Hey Ron, you can still come and visit in June, I would welcome that and I
have two other cars for you to see!

Tom Fox

Ron,
You really don’t want to miss out on a visit to Tom (The Magician) Fox and his plu-perfect cars. He is not far off your planned route.

Tom,

Thanks for the offer, my scheduled trip brings me really close to your home. I will talk to my wife about it, she is a bit less enthusiastic about cars than I am  Matthew got crazy and said go go goooo, he loves your cars! I do like the 59 DeSoto too, my friend has a 59 Fireflite Sportsman Hardtop and most of the time we cruise together.

I’ll be in touch,
Ron

For all who still don’t know it – I’m inn too. :  ; Hope to meet a lot of you guys there!!!

Stefan

Well, I’d LIKE to be posting that I’ll be there but just like every year this comes up, something is going on that keeps me from attending… maybe next year (fingers and toes crossed)…

I will be going to Carlisle and look forward to meeting everyone. I only have about a 1 hour drive to get there!

Erin, then you’ll comen withyour car?

I would like to bring my car but it is not finished yet, hopefully next year I can drive it to Carlisle. I don’t have any pictures of the car before I started work on it, but I want to get some pictures of it in progress posted soon.

Well, it looks like the Keij’s are enjoying themselves – do a little Sport Fury drag racing in Roger’s back yard!

Soon, though, they’ll be joining the Steinmaier’s in Philly for a little East Coast touring action, before we head out to Carlisle to meet Tom Fox et.al. Hope we see you there!
