If you go back to the beginning of your thread “Getting a start on the convertible”, BWINC posted some pics of a black cvt…isn’t that the exact same one now on Ebay?

I will call Thursday on this one and report to all any information I can gather on it. Looks pretty bad, Sheet metal wise it needs a donor car for replacement steel. It does not look like it has the folding top assembly.
Looks to be around a 1500 to 2K car with out a top and as bad a rust as it shows.

Might be interesting, if just for informational purposes. BWINC knows about this car, as he sent some pics to JF last year or so. I can’t see anyone buying this scrap. We all agree they broke the mold when they made John Fowlie. Besides him, NOBODY would go to such lengths to restore this heap, esp. knowing how impossible it is to find convertible-only pieces, etc. The only salvageable stuff I see is the stainless and the glass, and even there it appears to be missing the driver’s door vent frame+glass.
