i have finished getting all the mechanical parts off this wagon . have a rear bumper, new dual exhaust for a 318 custom bent, gas tank(i think, havent got this off yet) maybe some rear door parts and a full set of side chrome. passenger compartment is completely burned including the 3rd seat A/C. not ready to sell the front clip yet since i have a sport fury to work on. also the frame is in excellent shape. i will be going to the crusher around the end of the month if anyone wants to ask about parts not mentioned. thanks, pat grant
Hi Pat,
I guess I’m too late for this (just joined the Forum) but I’ll take the chance anyway. Do you still have the trim parts for the Suburban? Best regards Per
no , sorry. i took it to the junkyard about two weeks ago. the stainless was just too much trouble to get off. it was in perfect shape too. the only stainless i have is on the front fenders and front doors which i kept and the stainless on the ends of the fins. incidentally those piece are unique to the station wagon b/c they have screw holes in them . i also have everything out of the engine compartment and the entire front clip and the exhaust system and gas tank.
I do believe there are folks looking for the gas tank over on www.forwardlook.net.
I am sorry I didnt get with you on the A/C parts, as I am in need of some stuff.
Too bad all around. I know you advertised this wagon a few times…
have not seen any one interested in the tank. can you head them my direction. i still have all the a/c system except for the refrig lines. they were burned. car also had a rear seat unit but it burned too. what do you need?
My needs are under the hood…needing the long copper tube from radiator area of car back to firewall. I also need the-compressor-to- firewall line. If you think these lines are better suppied by a local a/c company, that is okay. dont know how to include photo, so will send yo separate attachment…
nevermind, the tubing will cost too much to send, even if you have it…I will try to find a local shop to re-create the tubing…thank you anyway…
