The tan interior looks protected by that old school plastic covering too!

For the rest of us, can you explain what this "XX YY" on the plate means?

Bob
Sorry, that was rude of me. Rick's wife has a Pink 70 Challenger Convertible and he picked up a 1970 Colorado license plate with the" XY 27" on it. XY is DNA code for a male, (XX for a Female) 27 is the body style code for a Convertible for Chrysler, Plymouth & Dodge in the late 60's and 70's. he would have loved to picked up a 1970 Colorado XX 27 plate for his wife in that same sequence but chances are slim of finding that sequence at a swap meet.

By putting the XY 27 on the car as a "Year of Manufacture' he would be slyly stating it was his car when in fact it was her car.

So it was kinda of inside Joke that I should have explained better to others.

For some reason my brother Tom, the geneticis :ugeek: , figured it out quickly....

My bad (yet again) for not explaining it to people and keeping them in the dark.
