Caladium Festival & Car Show - Lake Placid, FL August 29, 2009

August 29 HOT AND MUGGY. Very nice show though. Close to 200 cars, Lake Placid is exactly 100 miles from my house in Palm Beach Gardens. Took the 60 Desoto and won 3rd place for Antiques 49 to 64. Last year the Catagory was Best Mopar and she took 2nd place. After a Paint Job, go figure. 2007 I took the 59 SF and won 2nd place Best Mopar. First time I went to this show was around 2003 or 2004 and lthere was a bronze 59 SF convetible, wish he would come back. The 50/50 was over $600.00 to the winner, not me, but I did win a nice big umbrella and needed it because we had a 30 minute deluge. Otherwise it was a very nice day. OK that's it for the Desoto, I won't take up valuable 59 SF thread space anymore.
