Sorry to Say I won't be able to make it this year, My niece's son is getting married and I have to go under penalty of death, you'all know what I mean. Maybe next year???
Dick.
Went visiting Mary Kay's kids in NYC last night, and got home in time to finally back Faulkner out after a long winter's nap. I had been worried about a minor leak in the rear passenger brake cylinder - brakes hung up a bit last Fall - but a quick check of the master cylinder showed no real loss of fluid, and the brakes worked like a champ. Still, I'll probably pull the drum when the Keijs get here and have a look.
Faulkner is running like a dream. Even looks good from twenty feet, although get up close and you can see the squirrel pawprints in the dust on the fenders. Yeah, he got locked in the garage and tore up some cardboard for a nest, Danke Gott he did not feast on the interior. Even made a nice little hole in the roof trying to get out! All fixed now. Now, to give Faulkner a good cleaning next weekend, and get ready for Carlisle.
Hmm... Well, Earl Hess confirmed he's coming, but with just the one car, and he's not sure which day (his grandson is in a baseball playoff, not sure when he's playing yet). Curt Lambdin hopes to come, but it will be without his car. Forward Look Frank will be there too. I've got to beat the bushes again!
