Thanks, MrTester, I've emailed him for pix -- let's see what he says. I think $5.2K is a little pricey for a 6cyl Belvedere, sight unseen; but he also said it was negotiable.

Terry! I'll email you separately -- but if you send me the pix, I'll post right here. Thanks for the heads up -- can't wait to see the car.

I've seen an original one. It follows the form of Tom's, but it's simply embossed vinyl. Tom's is customized, in the spirit of "The Car Chrysler Should Have Built" and in keeping with the tradition of its Fury predecessors. Check out Tom's amazing homage to the Fury here: http://www.59spor...

Re: milestone

I dont wish to be a hairsplitter, but wasnt the Miestone status achieved several years ago? For the 56-58 Fury. Third paragraph of the page! Robert Hinds noted that the 1956-58 Furys were already certified as Milestone Cars, so he nominated the 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury models for Milestone Status.

Jerry, You gotta know when to fold 'em! You are to be commended for recognizing that this may not be the right time, or maybe even the right car, for you. Not that it might not be down the road! But it sounds like this car is solid enough that it deserves to be restored, rather than cannibalized. By...

Now, I wonder how you flare these suckas on the other side... Is there a special rivet tool for this type of rivet?
