I use a penetrant called Lube Job that I get through mail order. I've found that it works just as well as the PB blaster, but costs half as much which is important around here, as much of it I go through.---John Thanks John -- I found this link to it: http://www.blowoff.com/lubejob/super_penetrant....

dash parts for sale
Be sure to click on the picture itself to see full dash detail.Roger Howard wrote:...I am reserving the dash mirror unit for Matthew Keij, otherwise I am offering up for parts. I don't want to try to ship it as a unit..too large for standard shipping, and things get complicated.

"Pop" goes control arm
Dan - I used the kit to remove old ball joints. I googled "Ball Joint Press" and the links show pics of the tool and states that it is for both removal and installation of press fit parts such as ball joints, u joints, etc. John in Wis. and John Fowlie had it right all along! I rented the...

If the brighter signal lamps are staying on, then Dan is correct..there is not enough resistance in that circuit to trigger the flasher. Correct. Well, almost. The problem is actually too much resistance. From Ohm's Law, V = I x R where V is voltage, I is current and R is resistance. Since V is fix...

Thanks Dan, but I am sure the bulbs are fine. In fact on the driver's side they are working twice the time they should. When I actuate the switch they keep burning, and on the passengers side it works just fine. Ron OK -- then the fact that they are lit means there's no break. But perhaps the socke...

The turn signal is flashing on the otherside. We already have a little problem with the turn signal kit that is under the steering wheel. Could that be it? Matthew, the flasher controls the flashing for both sides of the car, since only one flashes at a time. If it's flashing on the other side -- i...

Matthew, the flasher is under the dash, attached to the steering column by a little clip. But... Are the signals flashing on the other side? Then it's not the flasher -- you've got too much resistance in the circuit. Check the contacts for the bulbs. Or, you could even have a bulb burned out! Dan B...

Dan - I would think too that by disconnecting pitman the arm would swing away out of way....but if that doesn't work, what about a ball joint removal tool. Not the fork type tool but the kit that actually presses out a ball joint. I've used one several times to press out worn ball joints and press ...

Certainly the Power Package would have a different # for the intake because it employed a 4 bbl carb; there were no other 4 bbls for Plymouth 318s other than the V-800. There's not more than one 4v intake listed in the Parts Book, is there? Actually, I think there is! And something that implied tha...

Re: Poly camshaft
Stefan, The stock Fury grinds for 1957,58 were 256/.405 and 260/.405 respectively. Aftermarket grinds were approx. 240/.387 to 256/.400 or thereabouts. The cam you have pictured is not a Poly camshaft and will not work in your Poly engine. If you are in need of any Poly 318 information or New cams,...
