Re: deciphering a build card...

Stay tuned, Henry! My recollection is that the photocopy of the microfilm was accompanied by a letter, and that the letter provided the name of the dealer that corresponded to the dealer code.

Did you receive a letter with the photocopy?

Re: deciphering a build card...

BTW, Henry, was there an accompanying letter, one that decoded the dealership, perhaps?

Re: deciphering a build card...

Here's a topic to get you started, Henry! In the meantime, I will alert Matthew Keij, our build card expert, to your inquiry - perhaps he will have some more detail.

What a gummy, filthy mess. It’s a wonder it worked at all  First stop, my favorite cleaner - isopropyl alcohol: 499350828_10108058705975427_1351501491696401115_n.jpg It’s whadimtawkinaboud! Re: One good turn deserves another...

I find it curious, too, Roland! Here's what the Chrysler parts manual says (the first column being Plymouth):

Ron Waters, however, says the switch was the same 1955-1959 regardless (although the early years could have had cloth insulation). Go figure!

One good turn deserves another...

After my grandson sitting behind the wheel "driving" the Fury - and, me forgetting to remove the turn signal lever before his visit - the pot metal screw hole in the switch plate took a beating, and the lever started to flop around. Fortunately, I had NOS plate in my stash, so I undertook ...

Re: How does the roof rail seal install into the retainer?

Brian, Here's a pic of my retainer strip in the car, with the door window weatherstripping pulled out - you'll notice that the reproduction weatherstripping is in two pieces, the front has a different shape than the rear (the originals were molded in a single piece). Where the quarter window comes i...

Re: How does the roof rail seal install into the retainer?

Are we talking about the weatherstrip that pops into the roof rail that screws into the roof, into which the windows roll up? On a previous occasion you post this pic: Parts 4-6.jpg Is #4 in this pic, the metal piece you are holding in your hand? It doesn't look like mine - I can try to take some pi...

I wonder if the front bumper also has a detent for the rubber, or if its simply glued on.. Will Walker has a project car that has these rubber bumpers - here are some pix, and a convo I had with Will: 494577097_1235436634820219_6478432371246586056_n.jpg 494578797_2166487833793072_225618946480415415...
