Re: Wiring Harness Questions/Picture Request
OK, this is the third try. This is the routing of the YNZ harness l installed in my Convertible. It's made specifically for a 59 Plymouth. Good luck with the Painless harness. The YNZ is routed thru the bottom of the DS kick panel into a channel under the sill plate then into the bottom of the DS ...

Re: Redo a Steering Wheel with Clear Vinyl tubing
Yes, it would still look good without the fourth layer. That was my thought as l was putting it on. Either way it still looks pretty good.

Re: Drive belt wobble
I think Rickey is right a 3/8" wide belt should do it... Tighten so there is 3/8 to 1/2 " movement on belt between waterpump pully and alternator pully.

Re: Instrument Lights
Knowing working under the dash is only a job for a contortionist l figured having to remove the steering column jacket and steering shaft would be as difficult when l replaced the power steering box so since the front seat is only held in with four nuts l elicited the help of my son and removed the ...

Re: Instrument Lights
Art - l changed all my dash bulbs from #57 to LED's including the three you are talking about with no trouble at all. I suggest a small blade of some kind to pry the socket out of the hole. Just let me say do not wait until you are 86 to change your power steering box. Been fighting it for 3 days ...

Could be the v belt itself, you should carry a spare anyway. I have saved at least two Chevy's with my spare belt.

Re: Drive belt wobble
Single groove pully on crankshaft. I guess no power steering. The belt is tightened correctly when you push down in the middle of a span and it moves approx. 1/2". Dan can you post the video of my engine running while driving the alternator, AC compressor and water pump.
Thanks,
Dick.
Thanks,
Dick.

Re: Ride height
Schlaag, Regarding your original shocks w/o helper springs, you can buy a helper spring kit from NAPA or any parts house and install them on your shocks. I did that on my 60 Desotos original shocks and it made a huge difference. It would bottom out with two passengers in the rear but not anymore.
