About 3 years ago I bought some small stuff (windshield washer squirters/bases and a foot unit for my 60 Dodge Dart
from Mopar Mel no problem, but I got burned $1000 for a gas tank from him for my Fury that was worth … maybe a couple of hundred. I was relatively new to the hobby then. Some buyers on the FL have said that Mel does occasionally have good stuff but I will never buy from him again. This sort of behavior HELPS NONE OF US. A reasonable profit margin I can understand. But burning us regular hobbyist folks? Preying on the inexperienced? Giving us inferior products when we are willing to pay for good quality ? We could use more people remanufacturing all sorts of stuff for our vehicles, but not like this! Beth H.
