Facebook Killed the Forum

Post by Faulkner »

It's sad, but true... https://www.makeuseof.com/social-media-online-forums/

But: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! I'm working on making it easy for Facebook users to automatically register on the '59 Forum, which will permit them to reply to posts as well as view them. And also, to permit folks to post from the Forum directly to Facebook groups.

In March of next year, the '59 Forum will be twenty years old. Is it time to pack it in? Maybe not! Time will tell. Stay tuned!

Dan; I think it also killed Christmas cards, family and class reunions. Merry Christmas, Mark

Dan.

I do read the posts without logging in to the site.

But I agree that Facebook has my undivided attention for Mopar related stories, events, cars and Plymouth people.

I do appreciate all the great work everyone has put into this site.

And I use it for a first reference for technical issues, how to do fixes and how to find parts.

Have a happy and healthy New Year.

Just tried the new Facebook log in and it works great now. I am sure the forum will be more active from now on, time will tell if it should stay.
