More cars for parts

Post by big m »

Howdy everyone!

I recently picked up several Savoy sedans, as well as a couple Suburbans, and a couple Sport Suburbans for parts. Also bought a partially restored Sport Sub. with three car's worth of extra parts. I will probably complete the wagon [if I get time] and offer it for sale also.

Now, here's a fantasy: Mary Kay and I fly out for a visit to Yosemite, we drive up to the Big M Ranch in a rental, I buy the Sport Suburban and we drive back cross-country.

A boy can dream!

That sounds like a pretty good fantasy to me! I dream of making a vacation trip in an old wagon. Tops in the list of destinations would be Yosemite and and then a walk through of the Big M yard!!! Some day. I wish I had a 59 Wagon to round out the collection, but i have to finish the 59's I already have first. Speaking of, John do you happen to have any of the fallowing?

-1959 Plymouth Power brake set up (pedal assembly, Booster, Vac canister, mounts and brackets). I would like to convert my Savoy to power disk with Volare/5th ave spindles/rotors.
-1959 Savoy 2dr side trim.
-1959 TF push button mechanism with buttons and dash face plate.

I can't wait to see photos of your new finds! I think I think saw a FB post of one of one of them the other day. A cream & yellow 59 Savoy 4 door you were hauling home!

I do have a complete power brake changeover, the price is $400 for everything necessary.

I have some of the Savoy trim, but not a complete set.

I used to use Photobucket for posting photos, but not sure how to go about it now.

John, just post a reply and drag the images into the text box. They'll upload!
