Well, I have been without my car for almost three months now but will get it back next Saturday. It was on loan to the Denver Forney Museum as part of the Virgil Exner exhibit they had running from March 1st to May 31st.

My car was on of about 25 on display there. I will pick it up this Saturday so I can go to the major Mopar Action Mopar's at Thunder Mountain Show at Bandimere Raceway.

Here are a few pictures of my car there.

Thanks John! Got it back on Saturday evening and it felt good to drive her again! I was worried that the top may have shrunk a bit with it being down for 3 mos, but she close right up with out a hitch.

Took her to a Mopar show today and took runners-up in my class to 58 Dodge Sweptside PU. No worries there as it was fun to be out an about with it.

Mopar Ricky (Rick Clapham) followed me over to the show as he was selling some of his vintage stuff at the swap meet part. About 330 cars (all Mopars!) were there. Saw two Challenger Hellcats do some passes down the quarter mile doing around the 12 second mark. One still had the temporary tag on it. So he was still on the low performance Key (about 500 horses instead of the 707 HP on the red key) Need 1000 miles on the car before the computer will let you access to all the horses on that hemi.

John, Just letting everyone know our track is at 5800 feet above sea level. This will translate to a .7 adjustment addition to your elapsed time. Example at sea level your elapsed time 10.30 for traveling the quarter mile, your time here would now be 11.00 seconds.

Thanks Mr. Rick! For your Mathematical Calculations. Rick use to race so he would know. I forgot about the Altitude adjustment features to equate them back to Seal level performance. I would have had to take off my socks to count my toes for that stuff! :P

Rick was at this same Mopar's at Thunder Mountain show that I was at but selling some of his Garage Mopar Stash there at the Swap meet, mostly muscle car stuff of the mid 60's and early 70's.

No 59 stuff as I had already gleaned that stuff from him years ago. On my car the motor, tranny, rear end pumpkin and the air cleaner came from Rick. So he has a lot of stuff!
