59 PLYMOUTH TRAILER (NOT A QUEEN)

Quite a while back my wife Yvonne broke her foot rather badly and had great difficulty walking. I bought her an electric scooter so he could get around and go to car shows with me. Whenever we go on a trip she brings everything we own and accumulates twice as much for the return trip. So I bought a Champion utility trailer http://www.championluggagetrailers.com (some call them a Mullins Trailer) to accommodate all the stuff and the scooter. It has a drop gate at the rear to accommodate getting the scooter in and out using a couple of small ramps. When I first got it I installed 59 Plymouth tailgate guards that rest on the bumper when you lower the tail gate and 59 Plymouth wagon taillights. My original intentions was to paint it Red (bottom) and White (top). I had a couple of complete trunk Sportdeck covers and decided I would see if it fit on the trailer and modify as necessary. Lo and Behold it fit perfectly. I painted the top white but left the bottom gloss black and installed the Sportdeck on the trailer lid. I installed some adhesive backed chrome trim with door edge molding on the wheel wells. I think it will look pretty good behind the Belvie Convertible on our trip to Crusin the Coast in Mississippi in October.
See the Pitchuhs,
Dick.

Weird, I just saw one here in Denver a couple weeks ago at our Monthly Golden, Colo Super Cruise. I was not able to get a pic of it or talk to the owner of it. He took the back half of some 59 Plymouth narrowed it in the body and the trunk lid and it looked great behind his hot rod...

I need to find this guy and buy it off of him!

Damn, I thought I was unique. At least get a picture. I'm surprised, I thought you were the only 59 Plymouth nut case in Colorado. :?

A 59 Sport Fury mini trailer .... complete .... even comes with a toilet seat.

This is what every 59 Plymouth owner should have in their garage.

Nut job? Why I aughts...

No there are others lurking in the woods. Tom Amberg bought Linda's 59 lives 10 mins away. This was an actuarial rear clip with trunk (no sport deck though) narrowed up width wise. It will be bugging me all fall and winter finding this guy...or I can go to a local junkyard where there is a 4 door there and do the mod work my self...Won't Pam be pleased with more welding and grinding going on in the garage...

John - My four door parts car helped me restore two cars, maybe you should bring that one home and put it under a cover. JUST IN CASE.
Dick.

John - I really didn't mean it about you being a Nut Case, I apologize, I will never say it again, please forgive me, I feel so bad, please don't hit me, I'm going to bed now and hide under the covers.
Dick.
