Transmission

Post by vic barone »

Hi all

In search of a 1962 727 transmission

In my quest to rebuild my BB engine with a stroker kit it turns out that the 440 crank and my original converter / trans will not work

My research tells me that the 1962 727 has the shift cable and rear brake
With little modification I can make it work

If you have one you would be prepared to part with or know of where I can get one I would love the hear from you

Only catch is I may need some assistance in getting it to the shipping yard as it's got to make its hall to Australia

Cheers

Did you install the '62 trans and did you use the '62 button mechanism with the '59 buttons?
