Wiring Help
Getting ready to start my rebuilt 1959 p318 for the first time in my sport fury...have a couple wiring issues/questions.
1. On the factory wiring diagram., on the main harness coming out of the firewall., there is a dark blue wire the goes to the resistor mounted on the firewall...and then out of the resistor to the positive side of the coil. On that same side of the blue wire going into the resistor..there is also a green wire that goes from the resister and goes to???? ( I think I am missing something)
2. Have a wire coming from the transmission and it suppose to go to ????
3. On the horns., I have the two wires coming out of the harness up by the radiator support...they have both been cut...Are the horns grounded to the chassis? (I don't have horns yet)
4. Does the engine need a ground strap to the firewall?
5. On the negative side of the battery...the main battery ground (-) ....assuming it mounts/grounds to the driver's side of the head in the front?
That's a start..have more., but need these answered before I start the car.
