Anybody need these cvt parts?

Post by rogerh »

I had a call from a friend who has the opportunity to purchase a decent "convertible-only" stainless header bar, as well as the stainless piece which screws to top of the header bar, outside the car. He'd like to make a few bucks for being the parts-finder.
If nobody on this List needs these parts, what price would YOU pay to own these, and then put them on eBay?

Roger-
Can you get some photos from your friend?

Most of my convertible top parts are junk, except for the stainless, but these may be better than what I have. Anything to save a bit of time here and there.

Roger/John - I'm not sure if I have the outer piece of Stainless so John if you could take a picture of both your pieces I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dick.

Shoot! I was about to take pictures... It would not hurt to see these parts that are for sale. They hardly ever come up for sale and you never know when you may stumble upon another convert some day.

the man who was offered these parts has not seen them yet. He will see them next week, and if they are decent, he will make a counter-offer, and hope to buy them. In any case, I hope to get photos and a personal report in a week or two.

The man who was offered these cvt-only stainless parts went ahead and purchased them, and has no plans to re-sell them, saying he plans to keep them in case he buys a second convertible needing these parts.
The pieces were in very good shape.
So that ends that.
