Residing at Ernest and Sons, Capulin, CO. I think you must buy the whole car.

I know about this car and a Chrysler wagon at the same yard, it is about 4 hours away and once the snow clears from that area I will go down and check this car out and the wagon too!

I have been to this yard, They are in need of some organization, the car pictured is maybe the nicest in the yard, missing knobs levers and controls, the trim is pretty fair, very little rust, lots of work to get this car out.

A review of this yard, with pictures, appeared in a national car magazine last fall, I believe. The review got put on line and the 60 Chrysler wagon was gone in a flash. I imagine the Belvedere is still there, however.
Thanks for the report, RickyMopar!

Im going to ask a stupid question, it appears from the image of the Belvy
that they painted the whole car black to achieve the sport tone and roof colour then painted
the car white for the body............would the factory have painted the car this way?
Looks like alot of paint waste if this was the case?

Jason.
I would imagine the repaint was performed to keep the interior cooler, this car was in the hottest as well as coldest area of Colorado. I do not think this was ever done from the factory.

I can only speculate: the car was originally black. The stainless side trim inserts would have covered the black.
Somewhere along the way, it got painted white, and now both colors are wearing off.

Looks like a decent car to restore.
